Rakan Dudin, I’m 22 years old and I make Hip-Hop music, Based in Amman, Jordan.
There is so much behind the purpose of expression, and mine just happened to be a musical route, Hip-Hop specifically since it is derived from poetry and freedom of speech. My music has always been small projects, working with like minded peers, either producers or writers.
As of late, Ive been working with Palestinian talents based in Jordan and Palestine. It has been non-stop work for the past year, and we have been proud of many outcomes with the projects we created.
Always going to do what is best for me, addressing mental health, fighting for the justice of my country, and having a little competition with my peers.
so happy to be a part of this project and present a track with a friend of mine - Maddeh-1
Maddeh-1 -Poeticism has always been a part of my life, a way to escape from reality and a room to place my mind in. Yet, all I needed to build upon that was inspiration, in other words Hip Hop.
The more I grew as an artist the more I noticed the influences other artists had on my music. It’s people like Schoolboy Q, Nas, Andre 3000 etc. that I really enjoyed listening to over the years and seeing them evolve as time passed solidified the importance of change, which was good to learn from a young age. At an individual level, it really helps when I write about abstract concepts like mental health or social-political issues in this region. I tend to put myself in other people's shoes, where I could try to empathise and get a better understanding of the concepts I want to address. Hoping that my music comes off as relatable to most people.
It is a great pleasure to be a part of such a project, alongside Rknddn and many other talents.

Absolutely incredible music. It should be blasted through every speaker across the world in resistance to their attempts to silence Palestinian freedom. vales3000
